My topic of interest has to do with my current and future job, patient safety. Working at the hospital I learn something new about patient safety everyday. This topic is so broad and endless that it will hopefully be easy to gather lots of sources of information. I plan to interview my nurse manager at work or the doctors my mom works with. I plan on interviewing them next week after school on February 5th. I already know basic patient safety from the classes I had to take when I got hired at the hospital, but I want to know how that changes from level to level. As you go up job levels from CNA to RA to MD, the patient safety increases and decreases in many ways and I want to know what those ways are. I'll collect information from the internet, co-workers, fliers from work, and articles. I find the topic personally interesting because it is never ending and I plan to make a future in this career and want to be as well informed as I can.Saturday, January 31, 2015

ReplyDeleteMy mom is an instructor for a local EMT program, so I hear things about this topic a lot. Are you going to look at the patients' physical safety and health, or other things like their rights and privacy?
